• Kidnapping: This can be charged as either a first- or second-degree felony with penalties similar to those for aggravated robbery. 
• Rape: This is typically charged as a first-degree felony with prison sentences ranging from five years to life and fines of up to $20,000. 
• Sexual battery: This is generally charged as a third-degree felony punishable by nine months to five years in prison and fines of up to $10,000.
