Born and raised in Austintown, Ohio, Damian received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University before earning his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Since 1996, after serving a year as an assistant Mahoning County prosecutor, Damian founded Law Office of Damian A. Billak to focus on criminal and OVI defense, and he has successfully tried numerous jury trials in state and federal courts.
